A textured TPR rubber backing helps it stay in place on hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl, and when it's dirty, just shake it out or toss it in the washing machine.

This is a thick front door rug yet it’s very nice and not cheap looking. It does the job of absorbing water and keeping dirt and mud off the floors. It’s also easy to wash in the machine and run the vacuum over. They are soft and over all just look great! The size was perfect for both front doors and back doors.

Oh WOW!!! I looked forever for a rug. Like months. This is everything I waited for! Absorbency: These have made a tremendous difference in how much I am cleaning. I leave both doors open on nice days and my pup comes and goes at will (which for him, means in and out about once every 15 minutes). This holds up to that kind of high traffic and catches grass, mud, dirt, wet, etc. I don't even make him sit there. I just have it at the door as he comes and goes and each paw only hits the rug once before stepping off but even that absorbs alot. When I pick them up to shake them to vacuum, they are just filled with dirt and everything comes tumbling out (which amazes me because they hide it well, they don't look filthy, and my old rug never had this much stored away). Size: I have a 36x24" in front of the slider glass door. And, I have a 48x30" in front of my main door (the oval and pup pic). Grip: My dog will literally jump up and run out for a squirrel (again, I leave doors open alot) and this stays in place!! The old rugs would move on him and I was fearful he would break a hip eventually. I love that this holds. Washability: I threw these in the washer and they held up fine! They are pictured after being washed. What I will say is they hold gallons of water. So, wash alone or (for me anyways), my machine couldn't drain well with so many rugs holding gallons of water. I just can't recommend them enough! I know they are not the flashiest, but they have made life (and housekeeping) so much easier. I'm buying more for family.

purchased this due to my dog dropping water in addition to having a smaller muddy paws matt. This has helped if he is on the mat. it does help absorb the water instead of it going in the floor. it was a great purchase
